SphereCube is the Advanced Experimental Dark Ambient project of Nirto (Karsten Fischer) with extensive original sound design and splendid room simulations. Nirto takes the full freedom to structure his Dark Ambient tracks unrestricted and following his synesthetic and dark mental images to form trips through massive sound scapes.
SphereCube is based on processed field recordings and synthetic soundscapes. All tracks are composed and produced in surround and/or Ambisonics and also released as stereo mix downs.
The tracks are all produced at the NSONICS studio with several software and hardware tools, including surround room simulation hardware. Field recordings were mostly done with high end analog and digital microphones in stereo, surround or Ambisonics.
